Uncork some fun at the 3rd Annual Riverside Wine Festival!
This event, held at Findlay's Riverside Park will offer:
- Wine Tastings from 10 of Ohio's finest wineries with commemorative glass. Wineries this year will be:
Chateau Tebeau (Helena), Firelands Winery (Sandusky), Hermes Vineyards & Winery (Sandusky), Hillside Winery (Gilboa), Klingshirn Winery (Avon Lake), Paper Moon Vineyard (Vermillion), Shamrock Vineyards (Waldo), Soine Vineyards (Powell), Stoney Ridge Winery (Bryan), and Viking Vineyards and Winery (Kent).
- Craft Beer Tasting

Fine foods from local eateries: Bistro on Main (salad & pasta), Gracie’s Deli (cheeses & meats), Bread Kneads (breads, dipping oil and cookies). Tavern at the Inn (mandarin shrimp skewer, apple smoked chicken skewer, peppercorn sirloin skewer, hummus and veggies, berry chamborg shortcake).
- Kan Du Studio will be doing a "Community Collaboration" demonstration which will invite the community to create along side their artists during these demonstration times. Kan Du’s demonstration is scheduled for 1:30pm and 3:30pm.Live demonstrations throughout the day.

Ann Boyd who owns “My Own Backyard Herbs and Flowers” will be providing a seminar titled: “The Oenophiles Pantry" Simple delicious bites for wine from your kitchen and garden. Make sure your summer idlings in the garden include tantalizing herb blends to enjoy by the fire next winter. Ann has been studying herbs for over 30 years and is very well known as an authority on the subject. Boyd’s demonstrations are scheduled for 3:30 and 5:30pm.

Anne Hermiller will be doing a decadent dessert demonstration on how to make a cappuccino cheesecake at 5:30pm and sharing samples of mini cheesecakes.

Hancock County Home Brewers Association will be demonstrating home brewing of beer and wine.

Dan Matheny, co-owner of The Findlay Wine Merchant will be presenting two informative wine sessions at 1:30 and 5:30. Matheny will cover everything you need to know about wine and will be answering questions

Opening the festival at noon will be acoustic guitarist, Tim Oehlers. Oehlers is a well known guitarist/composer/recording artist/teacher from Toledo, OH who plays a wide range of music.
- Playing at 2pm is The Millstream Mojo Blues Band . This local blues band includes Reg Routson, Jerry Natal, Dave Dudley, Kevin Cullen and Greg Neat.
- Straight out of Houma, Louisiana is Josh Garrett & The Bottomline who will be taking the stage at 4pm & 6pm and will play a mix of blues and funk.
- Artists: Jason Wagner (beautiful reclaimed and blown glass objects); Ziss Custom Glass (fused glass jewelry, stained glass panels with depression glass plates incorporated into them, fused glass bowls, stained glass vehicle and pet replicas); Bob Minto (pottery); Sarah Thiel-Gaberdiel (wire-wrapped bird nest necklaces and rings with lamp worked beads and bubble glass pendants).

Exhibitors: DorAnne’s Gifts and Gourmet will have wine racks, wine bottle toppers, wine caddys, wine glasses, and sun visors with wine fabric for sale. Everlasting Furniture will be displaying quality hardwood furniture and furnishings. The Courier will have newspaper subscriptions, both print and online. TRENDS! On Main will have tastings of frozen drink mixes, glass pendants, and hand stamped jewelry. Port Royal Cigars will have an assortment of cigars for sale.

We will also be raffling a 4 Night San Francisco & Napa Valley Getaway for $10 a ticket. This trip is valued at $2,000 and includes: Roundtrip airfare from Detroit, Columbus or Dayton (Maximum ticket value up to $400 per person); Compact Rental Car for 4 days; Two nights at the Marriott Fisherman’s Wharf; Two nights at the Hilton Garden Inn in Napa Valley; Gourmet Lunch on the Napa Valley Wine Train; Winery Tour; Wine tasting at 6 select wineries. Tickets can be purchased at The Arts Partnership or at the Wine Festival.
Free parking and shuttle service will be offered at the event. Parking will be available in the Riverside Park overflow lots and Masonic Temple. Shuttle service will be provided by Birchaven Retirement Village.
Admission is $18 in advance and $20 at the gate and includes a commemorative glass and 10 one-ounce samples throughout the day. Non-tasters can attend for $10 each and children in strollers are free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at The Arts Partnership box office or by calling 419.422.4624.
